What is Spinal Flow Technique?

Spinal Flow Technique (SFT) is a holistic approach that uses a very light touch on the body to support healing. It focuses on the body's master control system-the brain, spinal cord, and nervous system-which govern all functions and communicate through the spine. Blockages or disruptions in this flow, caused by physical, emotional, or chemical stress, can lead to pain, discomfort, and a diminished sense of well-being.

The goal of SFT is to shift the body from a "stress zone" to a "healing zone" by restoring the spine's natural alignment and helping the body tap into its self-healing abilities. The technique involves identifying and releasing spinal blockages in the nervous system. During a session, the practitioner uses gentle assessments and techniques to locate blockages and activate specific contact points on the spine and cranium. This process helps release stored tension and re-establish the flow of energy and neuro-messaging, promoting optimal health and wellness.

Clients typically lie on a massage table, fully clothed, with bolsters under their hips, while the practitioner applies light pressure on access points to guide the brain in recognizing and clearing spinal blockages.

During a Spinal Flow treatment, you can expect a gentle touch applied to specific access points on the sacral area and cranium. This helps activate the protective layer around your spinal cord, triggering a unique spinal wave that enhances flexibility, restores function, and promotes overall well-being. The experience can vary-some people feel still, others may experience movement, sounds, or emotional release, while some may even feel deeply relaxed. It's normal to feel different after each session; you might feel amazing one day, experience temporary discomfort as your body releases tension, or feel better than usual.

A typical session lasts around 30 minutes to 1hour, depending on your specific needs. The benefits of Spinal Flow are wide-ranging and can help with physical and emotional conditions such as anxiety, depression, thyroid imbalances, aches, pains, stiffness, headaches, better sleep, digestive issues, and reproductive health. It can also support faster recovery from physical exertion and stress, as well as help with musculoskeletal problems like sciatica, fibromyalgia, back pain and much more. The healing journey is unique for each person, but Spinal Flow supports overall wellness and encourages the body’s innate ability to heal itself. Our body is very cleaver!
